Just a thought but you should do a set of real witches, or submissions of real witches as we are. Men and women and everything in between
Thank you very much for your comment!  I love hearing from people, and love suggestions.
With my work, I tend to focus on things outside of the everyday.  Doing a series like this would be something of an anthropological study, which doesn’t interest me very much.
As a witch, don’t you focus on the paranormal?  The supernatural?  The parts of your mind, world and person that are not related to going grocery shopping?  I know that I do, and those are the realms I hope to capture.  This is why I experiment with a variety of processes - Kirlian imaging, Radionic devices, mixed media work, etc.  There are other photographers (most, even) who specialize in documentation, so I’ll leave that to them.
The next phase of my witchcraft series will actually be going further in the opposite direction.  I hope you find it to be of interest!  Please do keep the questions and comments coming!

Solstice is coming up this Friday. A couple of days free.  No art plans yet. Must change this.

I would love to hear/see more of what goes into using a wet plate process in the field. I wish I could attend your class from this side of the continental divide!
I’ll see if I can get some documentation soon!

Bits and pieces from your daily life, here & there. What do you enjoy doing when youre not working? Where are some of your favorite places to visit? What inspires you & why? What do you do to unwind? Just every day things like that.
Ah, yes.  That personal kind of thing.  You’re right, I should get better at that.  Let me see what I can do!  Thank you again!

running-barefoot-thru-the-forest answered: Personally I’d like to see more things like earth magic. Also, more about you. People like to know the artist behind the work.

What would you like to know?  I’m not always very good at guessing what might be interesting to others.  What would be interesting to hear about?

(Tumblr is telling me that I’ve already asked the maximum number of questions for one day.  That number is two.)

Reblogging this, as someone asked to see my process for creating the Earth Magic images.  It’s not incredibly glamorous, really:  dirty clothes, bottles of chemistry, kneeling in the dirt.  I’ll see if I’m able to post in more detail soon!

wish-colored-sun answered: I don’t know if this is too much, but I was always interested in your process of working. It’d be great to see or hear how. Thanx always!

That’s not too much!  Which process(es) would you be most interested in seeing?
